The Gluckman Symposium is recognising Sir Peter’s contribution to science and celebrating his distinguished career spanning fetal and neonatal development, the developmental origins of health and disease (DOHaD) and the role of epigenetics in DOHaD, and science policy and diplomacy.

Sir Peter was the founding director of the Liggins Institute which aims to improve lifelong health through excellent research into the long-term consequences of early life events. Our vision is 'a healthy start for a healthy life'.

The plenary sessions feature international and New Zealand speakers reflecting Sir Peter's diverse career.
