There are a number of formal and informal ways to engage with the Liggins Institute’s research programmes.
The institute offers opportunities for school and undergraduate students to undertake short-term research projects during the summer vacation. For many former summer students this has been the beginning of research careers which have included honours and doctoral projects with Liggins scientists.

From time to time we invite members of the public to participate in trials conducted in the institute’s Maurice and Agnes Paykel Clinical Research Unit.
